My story

Are you ready for an energetic, playful companion who’s just as happy snuggling at home as she is exploring the yard? Meet Dolly, a spirited Terrier mix with a zest for life and a heart full of love! Personality & Traits: Dolly is a happy-go-lucky pup who adores her humans and will quickly become your loyal best friend. She’s a delightful chatterbox, expressing her joy with grumbles, snorts, yips, and barks. Whether it’s a cozy night on the couch or a fun afternoon in the backyard, Dolly is happiest simply being by your side. Training & Behavior: Kennel Trained: Dolly feels secure and comfortable in her kennel, making it her perfect retreat. Basic Commands: While eager to please and quick to learn, Dolly can get distracted, especially around other dogs. Patience and consistency will help her focus. Leash Training: Dolly is still learning leash manners but is well on her way with consistent practice. No Small Animals or Cats: Due to her strong prey drive, Dolly cannot live with small animals or cats—this is a non-negotiable. Quirks & Fun Facts: Paper Products Beware: Dolly has a knack for shredding paper, so keep important items safely out of reach! Quick Paws: She’s a little thief with small objects—don’t be surprised if she snatches something playful! Burying Treats: Dolly loves to bury her food and treats, showing off her quirky instincts. Dog-Friendly Dolly gets along well with other dogs but may need reminders to play politely when she gets too excited. Health & Wellness: Dolly is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. She’s in excellent health and ready for her forever home! Crowds: Dolly can become overstimulated in busy environments, so she’s happiest in quieter settings or at home. Ideal Home: Dolly would thrive in a home where she gets a balance of activity and downtime. While she loves playtime and mental stimulation, she’s just as content spending a relaxing evening snuggling with her favorite humans. An active family who enjoys both outdoor fun and cozy nights in would be perfect for her. Although she hasn’t been exposed to small children, she’s likely to adjust well with proper introductions and time. Will you be the one to give Dolly the loving home she dreams of? She’s ready to bring her unique blend of energy and affection into your life! Estimated date of birth is 9/28/2023 and her adoption fee is $200.January 15, 2025, 12:37 am
